Southend Police Station
A refurbishment and new build extension at Southend Police Station. The project comprises of the main police station undergoing a full refurbishment, whilst the existing custody suite is demolished, making way for a new extension to the main building, housing a much needed 30 cell custody suite.
Works include new mezzanine floor areas, complete replacement of all mechanical, electrical, fire alarm and electronics systems and services.
Construction of new kitchen, WC’s, changing areas and locker rooms. 30 new cells together with a further 50 associated rooms.
The refurbishment and new extension works are undertaken in three phases and total approx 3,370m². During the building of the new custody suite, minimal disruption is essential as the main building of the police station is fully operational.Download PDF
