The management of H&S on site is our number one priority. We have our own dedicated H&S team and have adopted the principles of successful H&S management set out in the HSE guidance HSG65 ‘Managing for H&S’.
In addition to this, we have OHSAS 18001:2007 and CHAS certification. With these control systems in place for all relevant hazardous activities, our H&S advisors ensure that safe systems of work are implemented in respect of temporary works, lifting operations, electricity, fire and other hazardous site activities.
We are proud of our excellent safety record and have NEVER had an enforcement notice issued. We are constantly investing in the safety and well-being of our staff and those in contact with our sites. Our commitment to zero harm is how the company proactively embraces a safety culture.
Monthly H&S Bulletins. We issue out monthly, H&S bulletins reporting on trends within the business, information received from the HSE and other safety resources and awareness of hot topics, for example mental health, occupational health, well-being at work.
